Life

I have been in a funk lately, the start of a new school year got me excited and I love fall but

that soon changed.

I'm a supply teacher, which has many challenges...the primary 1 being that I do not have a steady guaranteed income or work.

The first week went by without any work and then the 2nd and I was completely bummed.

Woke up at 5:45am to check if any jobs were available that day and then would lay in bed waiting for a phone call to work and then I would just not bother getting out of bed. What for?

morning after morning, I went back to sleep or would just lie there because I had nothing to do. I hate having nothing to do.

So I have been in a funk and just looking forward to greeting my little baby niece whenever she decides to come out(now would be good ;) and my trip to Toronto.

This week things started to change a bit, I changed my attitude soon and then I got a call for an interview on Monday!

I am so excited, just the possibility of having my own classroom is making me giddy!

And if I don't get the position, at least I am a step closer with this interview :D

wish me luck!

And remember to never stop living.

I am beyond pumped to visit my best friend in Toronto. I love Toronto, its a wonderful city.

The 1st time I went was many years ago and my sister and I were flying home from Alberta and went to Toronto instead to meet my other sis and mom. We stayed with our aunt (who we had just met and found out about) in Barrie. I dont remember much except going to the zoo! It was amazing!

I went back again for a big Italian wedding in Barrie with r. and my parents. We went to the CN Tower and had dinner at the 360 restaurant and went to Canada's Wonderland with my whole family who came for the wedding, all my aunts, uncles and cousins.

Last summer, r. and I went to visit for 5 days or so because my fabulous bestie k. lives there with her bf and we went to Niagra Falls and MarineLand(everyone should go! I love whales and dolphins :P). We also really got to see the city including Toronto Island and go to the Canada Day celebrations, and just hang out in the city.

This trip is going to be even better because its like a mini vacay for k. and I in the city! We are going to the spa, shopping, going to coffee shops and out for Indian food. I also let her know the 1st night I am there, I wanna go out for some Ceasars and other cocktails. I looking forward to some much needed bestie girl time!

Welcome Fall

Welcome to a new season..prob my favourite

Fall...Autumn

I love the changing leaves and the cold crisp mornings.

I especially love being outside, going for walks, to the park.

Cozy sweaters, knits and tights.

Festive fall decor
including pumpkins, Halloween items, colours of gold, reds, yellows, browns and oranges
complete with cinnamon, apple, and pumpkin pie smelling candles.
*I`ve already started putting up my fall decor!

Fall also means Thanksgiving dinner, pie making and baking all kinds of baked goods, making soups, stews and chilis.
We also have our whole family over for Redneck Olympics and our Annual Pumpkin craving contest and Hubby and I bring our friends kids to go apple picking.

{me and the girls}

Goodbye Sweet Summer

Summer was a short sweet blur, it went by so quick.

Hubby and I enjoyed the beach and cottage with family and friends and our dog who is now a beach bum.

We spent almost every weekend away going to a baby shower, family camping, a wedding away and many many trips with the race crew... I spent a lot of time at the race track and with our sweet little nephew, seeing him nearly every weekend.

It was a blissfully wonderful summer but I am ready to welcome fall!
